In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, people who work in disaster planning
here in the Conejo Valley area recommend that we prepare for FIVE to SEVEN days instead of THREE. Also, because we live along the highly traveled 101 freeway corridor it may take longer to restore adequate supplies in an emergency situation.
